Biobanks Our Future
January 31, 2011
Ensuring the future is that most of us, an economic issue. We see the savings bank is a common thing today. We do this because we never know when an emergency comes. Or do we do for our dream holiday. But ultimately, it is a gesture of taking a deposit that will give us a sense of security. In the case of a disaster we have all advanced to the bank; hopefully we can get our money, go with our lives. But what if there is a deep threat? What if the entire species is endangered?
Experiments and research depend on these banks. But both are long-term actions. Therefore, biobanking requires that security deposits. The money can remain at different temperatures and can be manipulated by anyone. It has not been named, not only for our bank to hold. Try to make this a biological sample. I can tell you from the beginning that will not happen. Biobanking has strict rules.
If you want to keep the samples as less deterioration is a complex system for the management of the sample. Physical damage must be avoided at all costs. The registration and storage of a computer-based information on all donors and stored with care.Besides the DNA testing and medical research, biobanking is a haven for global diversity. Not only human specimens are stored in such places, but also plants and animals. The joke about a red button
